Frequently asked questions

Are these mutual fund calculators free?

Yes. Every calculator on Valuezig — SIP, XIRR and SWP, in both Simple and Advanced mode — is completely free to use, with no sign-up required.

What is the difference between Simple and Advanced mode?

Simple mode assumes a constant annual return that you enter yourself, which is useful for a quick estimate. Advanced mode uses a specific mutual fund’s real historical NAV data to show what would actually have happened, including the real market ups and downs along the way.

Which calculator should I use?

Use the SIP calculator to estimate what regular monthly investments could grow to. Use the XIRR calculator when you invested different amounts at different times and want one annualised return figure. Use the SWP calculator to see how long a corpus would last if you withdraw from it every month.

Mutual fund investments are subject to market risks. Read all scheme related documents carefully. Past performance does not guarantee future returns. These figures are estimates shown before tax, and are for information only — not investment advice.
